Last last last Saturday...
(and did we say Last?)
...our literature organization, Literature Circle, was invited to
host a book discussion at ReaderCon 2012 in Filipinas Heritage Library.
Although we didn't exactly read the book Smaller
and Smaller Circles by F.H.
Batacan (meaning not at all), we still learned a lot from hearing new
insights from complete strangers. Not to mention it was fun hearing what their
M.O.'s would be if they were serial killers...we now have references for future
investigative use.
After our event, we stayed a bit to hear the Fifty Shades of Grey
discussion. We left after 10 minutes. Let's just say mommy porn wasn't our thing, also if you want the real thing some Anne Rice will do you good!
