If Only We Were at Coachella

Going to Coachella has been a dream of ours! Don't act like it's not yours too! Sadly, we have never been able to go because well, we live so far away in the Philippines. So we decided to create Coachella "sets" which are what we would wear if ever we were at Coachella listening to the amazing band line ups. Now, a warning, we are not "built to suit a fashion model's size..." we are however, still phenomenal women :) On to the looks!

Aya's Coachella Sets
The dress is from Forever 21. The belt, I've had for forever. I bought the sandals, which are called Heliana, from an old friend's booth at a bazaar. You can check out their facebook page. The wrap around bracelet on my right hand, is actually a belt from another dress I have. The shades are Gucci and finally the bag is from Accessorized which I got on sale.
The tanktop is from Forever 21 and so are the pinstriped shorts. The black fringed vest is from my sister in New Zealand. She bought it at a shop called Glassons. My seafoam green sandals are from Promod. The satchel is from H&M and the shades are from Mango. The bracelets on my right hand are from a friend's online shop called CROW. Check out their facebook page for amazing accessories and apparel which are worn by famous bloggers here in the Philippines :)

Just in case you were wondering, my backdrop is actually an old Lion King bedsheet which I thought was perfect for these Coachella looks.

Arabella's Coachella Sets

DAY 1
Since the Coachella festival is held at Coachella valley where it gets to be 100 degrees, at least from what I heard, remember we've never been there(definitely on the bucket list!), I decided that I would wear something light and breezy hence the dyed cropped top from forever 21 and pleated chiffon white skirt that I got from a thrift store (which I believe can also pass for nightwear). Of course to prettify the basics I wore a brown feather necklace and tassled sling bag(I got both from the wonderful 168 mall in divisoria for cheaps!) tthe flower hairpin was given by my mom from her Hawaii trip ages ago and I never really wore them so maybe in my real Coachella trip? You can't really see my bracelets but some I made and some silly bands also I wore a silver bangle which I got from world trade center bazaar. The Lennon sunglasses I fought for this and bought this from my best friend for 200 pesos(around 4 usd. The gladiators is my favorite I've worn it about 100 times, too comfortable for my life  bought it from So Fab only for 500 pesos(around 11 usd) on sale as far as I remember.  To sum up this look this is a modern day Pocahontas for me, I'll just drop f bomb to every John Smith I see during the festival and say "thanks for leaving me at the river bank!" or maybe that's too weird?

DAY 2
For this look I just wore a mustard brown maxi dress which has a lovely detail at the back but because of my sillyness I forgot to take a picture of(d'oh!) still wearing the same gladiators and sling bag and sunglasses. I'm also wearing a lovely necklace in white stone which looks like a bone/ (that rhymed!) but you can't see it too much cause this picture is really washed out, I'll do it better next time heeh! This look is just very laid back perfect for when I'm hustlin to get into front row to watch BON IVER. If there would be one band that I'd choose to see in the festival given that they set up on three different stages I'd really die to see BON IVER, when Justin Vernon sang skinny love and the wolves(act II and II) I almost cried watching in my couchella what more if I saw it live?

anyway, one day we will watch Coachella together and just cry our hearts out because our lives and outfits would be too perfect by then. What would you guys wear in the sunny Coachella Festival?

xx,
Aya and Arabella
